I believe in the power of therapy to bring life joy and depth because that is exactly what therapy did for me. Therapy can bring much more than relief from symptoms. Therapy can transform your way of relating to your self and the world, opening your mind to new dimensions of acceptance, equanimity, and meaning. I’m honored every day to connect with my clients. I revere the privilege of entering into therapeutic relationships with my clients and doing this challenging, vulnerable work.
I am a licensed clinical social worker located in Fayetteville, NC with licenses in the states of Florida and North Carolina. I studied Political Science and French at the University of Florida before working for several years in the legal field in Washington, DC. I then completed my master’s in social work at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC in 2016. My experience as a social worker includes work in community mental health, shelter, school, and hospice settings, as well as individual psychotherapy with adults. I completed additional training in psychoanalytic treatment through the Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Course at the Florida Psychoanalytic Center and the Stephen Mitchell Relational Study Center, and am engaged in further study in relational psychoanalytic treatment. I was a longtime volunteer with children’s after-school programs in both Washington, DC and South Florida. I enjoy working with clients affected by military service.
